Szidonia Vajda (born January 20, 1979) is an Romanian-Hungarian chess Woman Grandmaster and International Master. In 1995 she won the European Youth Chess Championship (Girls under-16).

She played in the bronze medal-winning Romanian Women's team in the 3rd European Team Chess Championship in Batumi 1999[1] and played for Hungary in the Women's Chess Olympiads of 2002, 2004, 2006 and 2008, and won Hungarian Chess Championship in 2002, 2004. [2]

In 2009 she won the 1st Teller Ede Memorial in Paks.[3]

She is the sister of GM Levente Vajda.[4]
